The 2012 High School Ultimate Championship is scheduled to be held in Round Rock, Texas at Old Settlers Park, May 5-6.
The two day 16 team tournament is hosted by the Ultimate Players League of Austin, and is a qualifying event for the National Championships. Round Rock, Texas – As temperatures are heating up so is the competition. Blue Diamond Tournaments is hosting a three day baseball and softball tournament that will bring competitors from across the state. Games begin Friday night at 6:00pm May 11th at Champion Fields in Old Settlers Park.
Softball teams from 8 and under to 14 and under will take the fields this weekend. With the season in full swing they are all hoping to add more wins to their record.
Avid baseball players ages 7 and under to 14 and under will be battling it out for double points this weekend.
Like the sports-event industry itseif, the National Association of Sports Commissions has seen quite an evolution over the last 20 years. Starting with a modest goal of creating a forum to discuss the best strategies in sports-event bidding, the NASC has grown into a nearly 600-member organization and has become a leader in the industry.
